"THE FUNNY THING ABOUT LOSING SOCKS" SHORT FILM RELEASE

I’m happy to report that it’s been a busy last couple months working on several scoring projects. Two of those were a joint effort between Grin Films, the Toronto-based film production team spearheaded by director Victor Oly (of which I am a proud member of), and Dangerbean/Ben Christensen, popular video creator on several social media platforms. One is Kill Space, which was funded through a Kickstarter campaign by Dangerbean in which over $40,000 was raised by fans and which had a screening at The Royal in Toronto last week. The other film is The Funny Thing About Losing Socks, a short film version of one of Dangerbean’s most popular videos (several million plays), released through the new platform Shibuya Films which allows viewers to directly fund further projects by their favourite creators. The film has Dangerbean’s signature blend of existentialism and sentimentality on full display, and it was a pleasure creating the score for.
